Streets Flooded in Cozumel After Hurricane Delta Hits Yucatan Peninsula

Hurricane Delta hit the eastern coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on October 7, with the National Hurricane Center (NHC) warning of a life-threatening storm surge and winds of up to 110 mph.

This footage shows street flooding Wednesday morning in Cozumel, on the southeastern coast of Mexico in the state of Quintana Roo.

Residents in Cancún reported downed trees and damaged property caused by the Category 2 storm on Wednesday morning.
