Streets of Beirut in Ruins on Morning After Catastrophic Explosion

Scenes of devastation were seen in Beirut the day after a massive explosion that killed at least 100 people and injured thousands.

Damaged buildings and shattered store fronts showing the magnitude of the explosion can be seen in this footage.

Lebanese Interior Minister Mohammed Fahmi told local media the explosion appeared to have been caused by the detonation of more than 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate stored at a portside warehouse.
