Street closures for the AAPI Cultural Heritage parade in NYC

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — The city’s third annual AAPI Cultural Heritage parade steps off on Sunday in Manhattan.

The parade is set to begin around 1 p.m., and festivities will take place along Sixth Avenue, from 44th to 55th streets. The AAPI Cultural Heritage parade celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage. This year’s theme is “Unity is the Foundation of Peace.”

Things To Do Around NYC

The following streets will be closed for the 3rd Asian Pacific American Cultural Heritage Parade on Sunday, according to the NYPD:

  • 44th and 45th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue

  • 6th Avenue between 44th Street and 55th Street

  • 55th Street between 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue
