The font of Netflix's Stranger Things title credits has been an oddly large part of the show's appeal. It's retro, it's atmospheric, and it's cool enough to take up the entire opening theme.

And now you can make anything scary and nostalgic with the Stranger Things title generator, Make It Stranger. Type in whatever title or message you want, and out pops the text in the show's red, neon font (called ITC Benguiat) with a scenic Upside-Down background.

There's no backing synth yet, though.

While it's unclear whether Netflix authorized this or not, it was created by Nelson Cash creative studio and has exploded in popularity, with over 94,000 unique submissions since its creation.

To test it out, here are a number of scary things made even more ominous by the Stranger Things type.

According to Nelson Cash, some of the top entries include "Stranger Danger," "RIP Harambe," and "Butt Stuff." And these are presumably some of the tamer entries.

The generator has its limitations, though. It accepts letters and numbers but not punctuation or even spaces, so you'll have to keep your titles to two words.

It does, however, allow for underscores in place of spaces.

For those who don't care for the ITC Benguiat font, there's a different Stranger Things website called Stranger Gif that lets you create words with Winona Ryder's makeshift Christmas light Ouija board.
