Shannon Purser (Barb!) Asks Fellow ‘Stranger Things’ Star David Harbour About His BFF Status with Patton Oswalt
Yahoo had the pleasure of welcoming many stars of television and film to our suite at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, so we decided to bring back one of our favorite segments: Stars Asking Stars. This time around, Stranger Things and Riverdale star Shannon Purser had a question directed to a trio of gentlemen from the hit Netflix series, David Harbour, Paul Reiser, and Matthew Modine.

“I want to know, what are all of your guys’ opinions of David Harbour’s bromance with Patton Oswalt,” Purser inquired.
Harbour proceeded to give a genuine answer that might make you envious of his friendship with Oswalt. “All right, Shannon, I’m going to be serious,” Harbour started. “When the show came out he tweeted something out about it, and I’ve loved this guy for years. He’s such a big ol’ nerd, and the fact that he could nerd out about our show meant to me that we had kind of arrived. I just love that guy, I just think he’s so damn funny. When he tweeted something out about the show and he followed me on Twitter, I immediately texted him. So we’ve been doing this back-and-forth about our love for each other.”
“You know, it wasn’t until I saw Patton today here that I realized Sean Astin and Patton are different guys,” joked Reiser.
