The Strange Music Comeback of Justin Timberlake Is Coming to the Super Bowl

Justin Timberlake is making his return to performing music live at the Super Bowl — sort of. Timberlake released his new song "Suit & Tie," which also features Jay-Z, earlier this month in pretty annoying fashion — he teased a release, then made us wait days before we actually could hear the track. Despite Timberlake's megawatt status, the song is not actually doing that well. That novelty rap act song is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop."

Regardless, news of Timberlake's performance means this Super Bowl weekend will be musically intriguing. Not only do we have the return of Timberlake, but we'll also see what Beyoncé has to show for herself during halftime after that  lip-syncing scandal. Let's not forget the Super Bowl is familiar territory for Timberlake, and the site of Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction, which he had a, well, hand in.
