Stolen car causes multi-vehicle crash in Horn Lake

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Several people, including a Mississippi police officer, were injured after a stolen car caused a multi-vehicle crash in Horn Lake Saturday night.

According to reports, around 9:15 p.m., Horn Lake Police Officers attempted to stop a stolen car in the area of Horn Lake Road and Goodman Road.

Police say the driver of the stolen vehicle refused to stop and crashed into three other vehicles and a Horn Lake Police Department patrol car at Tulane Road and Goodman Road.

All of the occupants in the car fled after the crash. One occupant was apprehended by a Horn Lake Police K-9, reports say.

Police say the occupant captured on the scene is in custody but has not been charged.

All of the individuals involved in the crash, including the Horn Lake Police Officer, were taken to area hospitals and are in stable condition at this time.
