Stocks to Watch: GE, UnitedHealthcare, Dunkin' Donuts

Here are stocks you should watch today.

General Electric (GE) shares are slumping on news that the company will take a $6.2 billion charge related to GE Capital’s runoff insurance portfolio. GE CEO John Flannery called the charge “deeply disappointing.”

United Health Group (UNH) shares are up slightly. The nation’s largest health insurance provider reported fourth quarter earnings this morning that grew 23 percent in the fourth quarter and 25 percent for the whole of 2017. The company also increased guidance for 2018 based on the new tax laws that went into effect on the first of the year.

Finally, Dunkin’ Donuts (DKDN), or rather just Dunkin’ is trading down slightly. The New England-based donut slinger is dropping the “donut” from its name with a new store in Quincy, Massachusetts it’s calling the “next generation” of its shops.
