Winners and losers

Stocks in the red include Weatherford as the energy name missed badly on quarterly profit, Teva as BTIG cuts the drugmaker to ‘sell’ citing pressures on the generics business, and Visa – shares slipping here despite an earnings beat as revenue growth was below estimates.

Stocks in the green include Roku as Needham warned short sellers that upside catalysts could result in ‘over-delivering guidance’ in its earnings report later this month, Blue Apron as Gabelli initiates coverage with a buy rating and $6 price target, and Mattel – shares rising as the toymaker reported Barbie sales jumped, and that revenue will stabilize next year.
