Stocks slammed as Trump agenda in limbo

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) slammed as traders seek safety, with the Trump agenda seemingly in limbo. Plus, Gap and Ross Stores earnings on the way. And, Bill Ackman says buy ADP — and shares drop. Winners and losers

Stocks getting hit today include Cisco despite inline earnings as sales in its security unit dropped; Acadia Healthcare as investment funds Waud Capital and Bain Capital will unload nearly 3 million of their common stock in the company; and Limited Brands, with shares getting stripped as the company cut its current quarter and full year forecast, with its Victoria’s Secret brand cutting swim and apparel categories.

Stocks bucking the tough tape include Molina Healthcare as Morgan Stanley upgraded shares to overweight with a $68 price target; Nutanix as Jefferies initiated coverage with a buy rating and a $30 price target; and Alibaba, with shares jumping as the Chinese e-commerce company beat on both the top and bottom line and saw e-commerce revenue jump 58% year over year.
