The Swedish Coast Guard will prepare nine jet skis used for maritime surveillance for handover to Ukraine, the government’s press service announced on March 15.

They will be donated as part of the government's earlier instruction to the Coast Guard to analyze the conditions for the transfer of vessels and other equipment to Ukraine.

The jet skis can be handed over immediately after deregistration and dismantling of the special equipment.

On Feb. 20, Stockholm announced the largest military aid package of $685 million to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

On Feb. 21, Charlotte von Essen, the chief of the Swedish security service, said that Russia was the biggest international threat to Sweden's security.
