Sting’s Daughter Eliot Sumner Opens Up About Her Sexuality For First Time
Sting and Trudie Styler’s 25-year-old daughter, Eliot Sumner, has spoken about her love life revealing that she has been in a relationship with Austrian model, Lucie Von Alten, for two years.
Speaking to the Evening Standard’s ES magazine, the singer explained that the reason that she hadn’t shared her sexuality before is because “no one ever asked”.
The starlet said: “I’ve never come out to anyone. My friend always knew and I always knew. They knew already so I didn’t need to.
“I don’t believe in any specifications. I think forever I was trying to figure out what I am. But I don’t think anyone should feel pressured to have any kind of label or tag on them.

“We should treat everybody the same. Me, I don’t like to be put down to a specific thing. We’re all human beings.”
As Eliot gears up for the release of her second album, she also admitted that she feels that she’ll always be in the shadow of her famous parents, adding: “I think I’ll always be in the shadow of my parents. But that’s OK. Everyone has a challenge.
“If I’m proud of the music I am making, that’s all I can ask for. If I put it out into the world, it’s not up to me anymore.”
Eliot also has an album called Information coming on Jan 22.
