The most unique piece of movie merchandise has been the subject of countless memes, questionable comparisons and even an entire "Saturday Night Live" skit. And it might soon be gone.
As the sequel to Dune enters its third week at the box office, those who didn't purchase the infamous popcorn bucket might want to grab it before it's too late.
What is the Dune 2 popcorn bucket? Why is it going viral?
This is a difficult, awkward question to answer.
First of all, the Dune 2 popcorn bucket is AMC Theaters exclusive merchandise. It is meant to resemble a sandworm, better known as a Shai-Hulud, of the planet Arrakis. According to BBC, when moviegoer's reach into the bucket, their hand has to "graze the creature's plastic teeth to get to the popcorn inside." Easy enough to understand!
However, the design is questionable. Many social media users have generously compared it to a popular sex toy.
Even the cast has publicly stated their discomfort over the popcorn bucket. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight interview, Zendaya commented on how difficult it seems to actually get the popcorn out and Josh Brolin just stated "I'm not putting my hand in there."

According to Rolling Stone, they’ve been selling out fast due to their popularity but some theaters are claiming they still have some left. It's recommended to your local AMC to sell if they still have any left before arriving.
Can I buy the Dune 2 popcorn bucket on AMC's website?
Unlike the Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" popcorn buckets, the Dune 2 bucket has not been put on the website, nor have any announcements been made about officials putting it on the website.

In you're desperate to cop the prized popcorn bucket, you can always head to an e-commerce site. However, be aware of inflated pricing.
AMC Theaters' 'Dune: Part Two' popcorn bucket is being resold online on retailers, such as eBay, Etsy, Mercari, Depop and Facebook Marketplace. Some of the listing range from $45 to $120, with one reported listing in the $800s.
The original prices of the bucket is $24.99.
Will they be restocking the Dune 2 popcorn buckets?
As of March 15, there have been no announcements on AMC Theaters restocking the popular merchandise. USA Today Florida reached out to AMC Theatres to see if there's any update on restocking.
