Steve’s Setlist: One more dose of rain this weekend… sunshine soon takes over

The soggy pattern will take us into the weekend, so unfortunately we still have another dose of rain in the forecast. However, a big time dry pattern will develop and it’ll provide sunshine for days in the extended forecast. So let’s just get through the weekend!

Track 1
Briefly by Better Than Ezra
After a nice break from the rain yesterday, we have another break today… which should feature some more sunshine compared to yesterday. Refreshing is what we’ll call it, as highs should be in the 50s for most (so a little cooler). Clouds will increase late ahead of Saturday’s rainfall.

Track 2
Another Saturday Night by Sam Cooke
Another round of rain moves in Saturday…. we shouldn’t expect a washout from start to finish like earlier this week. But we will get tossed scattered showers for a majority of the afternoon and evening… some light rain could develop by the mid/late morning as well. Warmer, too, with highs in the 60s despite the precip!

Track 3
All Along The Watchtower by Bob Dylan
While we’re up on the watchtower keeping an eye out for rain this weekend, recall Hendrix howling the lyrics Dylan wrote when singing… “there must be some way out of here, said the joker to the thief. There’s too much confusion, I can’t get no relief!” … sums up how the weather team feels about this rain! We need some relief…. and we’ll get it!

Saturday’s system moves out quickly, so Sunday is trending much drier and cooler. Sunshine should take over Sunday afternoon and should last for days… almost the entirety of next week!

One more round of rain and then the sunshine takes over!

Have a great weekend! -Steve
