Steve Harvey Looks Ridiculous in Inflatable Costume

Steve Harvey was rocking a new look in the form of an inflatable costume on Little Big Shots: Forever Young. The puffy clown costume gave Harvey’s usual funny look an even funnier one. “I got an aunt that looks just like this,” Harvey said.

The costumes were brought to the show by Fred Garbo, who created Fred Garbo’s Inflatable Theater Company. Garbo first became interested in making costumes out of parachute material after he went skydiving for the first time. He later met a man who made hot air balloons, and asked him to make a costume. Garbo had worked for eight seasons on Sesame Street as the dog, so he had a dog costume made. He had also worked in theater and as a mime.

Garbo taught Harvey how to pull in the sleeves of the costume and then quickly squat to make the arms pop out. Although Garbo did this with ease, Harvey only got one of his costume arms to pop out.

Little Big Shots: Forever Young airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
