Steve Earle to perform at Paramount Bristol in June

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) – Acclaimed singer-songwriter Steve Earle, whose 1988 song “Copperhead Road” became an official Tennessee State Song in 2023, will perform in Bristol, Tennessee in June.

According to a news release from the Paramount Bristol, Earle will perform June 20 at 7:30 p.m. as part of his Alone Again Tour. The venue announced Earle will perform solo and acoustically.

Tickets to the performance will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 15 at noon. Paramount Bristol members can purchase pre-sale tickets starting at noon on Wednesday.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. the night of the performance. More ticket information is available online.

Outside of his own hits, Earle has written songs that were performed by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, The Pretenders and more. Earle released his first record, Guitar Town, in 1986.

He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2020.

Outside of music, Earle has also published a novel and short stories and has also appeared in multiple films, television series and other forms of entertainment.
