Stephen Colbert Takes This Body-Slamming Thing Too Far (Video)
Body-slamming is no longer relegated to Mondays (WWE’s “Raw”) and Tuesdays (“SmackDown Live”).
On Wednesday, Montana GOP candidate Greg Gianforte allegedly “body-slammed” a reporter for The Guardian, breaking the journalist’s glasses. Audio of the purported incident was caught on tape. On Thursday, Gianforte actually won his special election — and the congressional seat.
So last night, Stephen Colbert tried out wrestling-style the assault route. His victim was an innocent “Late Show” audience member with an innocent — though, hacky — question.

Watch the video above. The maneuver actually resembled Dwayne Johnson’s “Rock Bottom” finisher.
