Steam Days at Washington Middle School
EL DORADO, AR. (KTVE/KARD) -- Moving on to Washington Middle School, the campus held its Steam Day event. Each year a WMS Steam Committee made up of teachers and admins plan out a theme and several projects for the year. This year's theme? The Little Rascals. Students traveled to Stars Cinema on Wednesday to watch the Little Rascals and then came back to school to plan their projects. Thursday, they built their projects, and today competitions were held. The event consisted of a clubhouse creation contest, derby car race where students built the cars and teachers raced them, and finally a talent show with guest judges. Congratulations to Brinlie Ferguson and Harmoni Briggs for their first-place win! Their group was called Tik Tok Comp.
