State results: Seaman, Silver Lake girls and more advance to title games

NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – March is living up to its expected madness and Friday was a busy one for basketball in the state of Kansas.

State tournament semifinal games were played for boys’ and girls’ basketball across all classes.

Several Northeast Kansas teams competed, including those listed below. This story will be updated as more games conclude throughout Friday night.

  • Washburn Rural girls’ advance to the 6A state title game with a 69-62 win against Derby

  • Silver Lake girls’ advance to the 3A state title game with a 64-49 win against Hayden

  • Seaman girls’ advance to the 5A state title game with a 49-45 win against Andover

  • Lyndon boys’ advance to the 2A state title game with a 63-56 win against Salina-Sacred Heart

  • Hanover girls’ advance to the 1A DII title game with a 56-28 win against Northern Valley

  • Frankfort girls’ advance to the 1A DI title game with a 48-31 win against Montezuma-South Gray
