Elmira, N.Y. (WETM)- We are looking at a beautiful day to start off the month. How long do quiet conditions remain? Details below:

TODAY:

This morning skies are mainly clear but fog and low clouds linger near the surface thanks to clear skies and light winds overnight. This fog should lift by mid-morning, and the rest of the morning should be mostly sunny. Temperatures today are back in the mid to upper 70s for most today.

TONIGHT:

We remain dry tonight with a few clouds passing through, and areas where skies clear up and winds are light may see fog develop late. We remain quiet overnight and into tomorrow morning. Temperatures tonight are back in the mid-50s.

REST OF THE WEEK:

High pressure dominates the end of the work week. A few clouds will pass through tomorrow, but we are staying dry and partly sunny. Friday will stay dry but clouds will build in ahead of a frontal system moving in for the weekend. This system brings scattered showers and cooler temperatures to our Saturday and Sunday.
