Stars are remembering Penny Marshall.

The legendary actress and director passed way on Tuesday at the age of 75, and some of the most notable people that she worked with and loved over the years took to social media to pay tribute to the Hollywood trailblazer.

"Laverne & Shirley" co-stars, actresses she directed in "A League of Their Own" and other heavyweights were among those who paid their respects: Ex-husband Rob Reiner, Ron Howard, Geena Davis, Rosie O'Donnell, Michael McKean and more.

"So sad about Penny," Reiner, who was married to Marshall for a decade, tweeted. "I loved Penny. I grew up with her. She was born with a great gift. She was born with a funnybone and the instinct of how to use it. I was very lucky to have lived with her and her funnybone. I will miss her."

"I’m terribly sad to hear the news about Penny passing," O'Donnell's "League" co-star, Geena Davis, tweeted. "My heart goes out to Tracy Reiner and her family. Penny brought so much joy to so many and will be sorely missed. I will be forever grateful to her for letting me be a part of A League of Their Own."
