Stars of ‘The Office,’ ‘MythBusters’ among celebrities coming to Denver’s Fan Expo this summer

DENVER (KDVR) – Ten of the celebrities who will be in Denver this summer attending Fan Expo Denver have been announced. If you’ve ever seen “The Office” or are a fan of “MythBusters,” you may see some of your favorite stars in the Mile High City.

Fan Expo is a 4-day event catered toward fiction from comics and animation to horror and sci-fi. The weekend is filled with fandom shopping, debates, fan meet-ups, panels and celebrity meet-ups at the Colorado Convention Center.

You can find anything ranging from a person in full costume to a rare comic book at one of the shops.

Actress Hannah Waddingham from ‘Ted Lasso’ is coming to Denver

This year, it takes place from Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7. While the event is still a few months out, Fans Expo already announced some major celebrities.

The event is bringing in many celebrities, one being Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight in the TV series “The Office.”

There are many other famous actors that you might recognize. Here’s the list of announced celebrities, as of March 27:

  • Rainn Wilson from “The Office” (Saturday)

  • Adam Savage from “MythBusters” (Friday-Sunday)

  • Rose McGowan from “Scream” and “Charmed” (Friday-Sunday)

  • Jason Lee from “My Name Is Earl” and “The Incredibles” (Saturday, Sunday)

  • Holly Marie Combs from “Charmed” and “Pretty Little Liars” (Friday-Sunday)

  • Shannen Doherty from “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills 90210” (Friday-Sunday)

  • Mario Lopez from “Saved by the Bell” (Saturday, Sunday)

  • Ben McKenzie from “Gotham” (Saturday, Sunday)

  • Michelle Hurd from “Star Trek: Picard” (Saturday, Sunday)

  • Ethan Suplee from “My Name Is Earl” and “American History X” (Friday-Sunday)

There are also popular animation voices from “Avatar,” “Dora the Explorer” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Other people coming to the event include anime guests, gaming stars, comic creators and cosplayers.

Advanced tickets are on sale for $24 to $139 depending on how many days and which package you purchase.
