Stark County community invited to Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony on Friday

CANTON − The annual Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony will take place at noon Friday on the lawn of the Safety Building next to the Stark County Jail, 4500 Atlantic Blvd NE.

The ceremony in honor of National Police Memorial Week will honor the bravery and sacrifices of the fallen officers from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and other local law enforcement agencies.

Representatives from various law enforcement agencies will attend. The event is open to the community.
