'Star Wars' star John Boyega shared the emotional moment he bought his parents a house, and they were totally speechless
John Boyega revealed the emotional moment he surprised his parents with a brand new house — and they were completely speechless.
The "Star Wars" actor shared a throwback video from 2017 on Instagram on Tuesday of the time he tricked his parents into thinking they were being interviewed at the swish London property.
"On behalf of myself I'd like to say thank you for everything that you've done and I decided to do a secret project for a few months, and I'm here to tell you that there was no interview, that was a lie, this is your house that I am presenting to you," he said in the video.
The British actor then goes up to his dad Samson and hugs him as he begins to cry.

The "Star Wars" star shared a 2017 video on his Instagram on Tuesday where he tricked his parents into thinking they were being interviewed.
The vlog style video shows Boyega walk through the swish south London house with his parents. He then sits them down in the living room and begins the "interview."
"But you know what, in your interview, you have to answer a few questions. Number one: Who's your favourite son in the world?"
His dad points to Boyega and says, "This is number one."
Boyega then reveals all: "On behalf of myself I'd like to say thank you for everything that you've done, and I decided to do a secret project for a few months, and I'm here to tell you that there was no interview, that was a lie.
"This is your house that I am presenting to you."
He added: "It's a small token but I just thought it's best that you live in an environment and place where you're happy and you have space and privacy.
"It's your prayers that have got this."
Boyega's parents, clearly speechless by their son's gesture, continue to look at him in disbelief until his dad Samson asks him, "John is it true?" before breaking down.
As Samson grabs his handkerchief, Boyega comes to the rescue and hugs his dad.
While it's the first time the 27-year-old British actor has publicly shown the property, he discussed some details on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" in 2018.
He told Fallon not only did he gift his parents the house, but he also purchased them a brand new Jaguar which was in the driveway — "I want your parents to adopt me!" Fallon told Boyega.
