Star Wars legend Frank Oz will be reprising his role as Yoda at Disney World.

Everyone's favourite green Jedi (sorry Kit Fisto) will feature at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction opening later this year, although perhaps not in physical form.

Speaking at Star Wars Celebration on Saturday (April 13), the Imagineers designing the new attraction teased that Yoda will commune with visitors through the Force.

Scott Trowbridge, the Imagineering Creative Executive in charge of Galaxy's Edge, said: "Not every character that we hear is a character we can see. Sometimes those voices come to us from…"

"Maybe the Force?" interjected Imagineering Creative Director Chris Beatty. "The force is a very mysterious thing and sometimes maybe Jedi from the past can visit us and be part of your experience. Maybe a small, green Jedi…"

"… Darth Maul?" joked Beauty and the Beast actor Josh Gad, who was hosting the Star Wars Celebration panel.

Yoda?!" Gad then shouted. "Please tell me what I think I want to hear. Who's voicing Yoda for this world?"

"I think the name you want me to say is Frank Oz," replied Beatty, confirming that that the original actor and puppeteer would be recording audio for visitors to listen to.

Let's face it, it wouldn't have been worth it if it was anyone else.

The Imagineers also revealed that the attraction will feature an animatronic Ithorian alien, and that Coca Cola is redesigning its logo and packaging to fit into the Star Wars universe.
