Star Wars fans are apparently going to love a new interview given by Mark Hamill, according to Jamie Oliver, who's spoken to the acting icon for his new TV show.
Mark, who plays Luke Skywalker, will share never before heard details about the original film trilogy on new Channel 4 series Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast – hosted by Jamie and his friend Jimmy Doherty.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Jamie explained that they cooked food that took the sci-fi star back to the '70s when he was making the first Star Wars movie, A New Hope.
Apparently, Hamill and the rest of the cast would all head to a gastropub every Sunday for a roast dinner – and for his new show, Jamie managed to find the cook that used to prepare the food for the Star Wars team all those years ago.
"We went back to his past," the celebrity chef said. "Imagine cooking Sunday lunch, and there's Chewie and Harrison Ford at the table? That's what it is like. So we managed to get this bit of [Mark's] life that you would never read about."
Opening up about what it was like to film with Mark, Jamie added: "When we had Luke Sywalker in, sorry Mark Hamill, we were so excited it was pathetic.
"He is a genius. He's everything you want to be. But it was the hardest interview I've ever done because he's so epic. It was hard to keep [the interview] on track. The Star Wars fans are going to go nuts!"
Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast kick-starts on Channel 4 this evening at 8pm, with celebrity guest Simon Pegg.
Revealing why he teamed up with Jimmy to make the programme, Jamie explained that the pair have been friends since they were toddlers.
"I've known him since I was one," he added. "He's such a lovely boy.
"[Growing up], I was always into cooking. He would always be dissecting things. We had a very Huckleberry Finn childhood."
Good Morning Britain is on ITV, weekdays at 6am.
