'Star Wars' characters singing 'MMMBop' will make you forget about the Dark Side

Need 20 seconds of joy in your life today? Yoda, Jabba the Hutt, and Hanson (yes, that Hanson) have got you covered. The video-editing wizards at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have re-created the chorus of “MMMBop” by dubbing in footage from all the Star Wars movies. It works remarkably well, considering how often the characters say “do” and “be.” As for the rest, Salacious Crumb fills in quite nicely for the three brothers from Tulsa, Okla. Watch it above.

This isn’t The Tonight Show‘s first attempt at musicalizing Star Wars. When The Force Awakens opened in December 2015, Fallon enlisted every major cast member — including the droids! — to sing an a cappella medley of John Williams’s original score alongside himself and the Roots.
