Star Wars: BB-8 Dishes on Meeting Prince William and Harry at The Last Jedi Premiere

BB-8 is spilling it all!

The beloved droid stopped by PEOPLE Now to dish on everything Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

BB-8 said (beeped?) he loved getting the chance to meet Prince William and Harry on the red carpet at the London premiere of the film and that he might not get along with his evil counterpart BB-9E. (Disclaimer: The PEOPLE staff does not speak fluent droid and is likely making this all up.)

As for the best piece of advice fellow robot R2-D2 gave BB-8?

We don’t really know, but it sounds like, “Don’t get blown up.”

And staying true to the holiday season, if BB-8 had a lightsaber, it would almost certainly be red and green.

In PEOPLE’s new special issue Star Wars: The Ultimate Guide to The Last Jedi (on newsstands now) and an exclusive PeopleTV special, BB-8 puppeteers Brian Herring and Dave Chapman open up about what fans can expect from the rolling droid in the upcoming film.

“He’s still a member of the heroes gang,” says Chapman. “He’s in there getting dirty and down with it.”

While Herring and Chapman promise fans that BB-8 will once again serve as a “comic relief” in the film, they say the droid’s role in the story is more important than ever.

“He’s a pivotal point, as the droids of Star Wars tend to be,” says Herring. “He also does a lot of stuff that we haven’t seen him do yet.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15.
