Star on Mountain lights up in orange for ‘National Work Zone Awareness’ week
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Star on the Mountain will be lit orange on Wednesday, April 17 in honor of National Work Zone Awareness week, according to the El Paso Chamber.
The El Paso Chamber says by lighting the star orange, it highlights the crucial role of work zone safety and the efforts to protect road workers and the driving public.
“This special tribute reflects EPE’s commitment to safety and acknowledgment of the vital work performed in construction and maintenance zones,” the Chamber said.
