Stan Zimmerman releases new book ‘Girls: From Golden to Gilmore’

Stan Zimmerman is a television producer, director, and screenwriter and through the years he has gotten to work with some of the most famous women in television. His new book ‘Girls: From Golden to Gilmore’ is full of great stories from when he was making these iconic shows. Stan says that a writer is lucky to be a part of one hit tv show but he has been lucky enough to be a part of multiple shows that are still popular to this day. He shares that Gilmore Girls was the number 6 tv show watched in 2023. When it comes to writing for a character for a long time Stan says that you start to merge the character with the actor as time goes on. He specifically mentions writing for Rue McClanahan and how she wanted a challenge for her character Blanche on Golden Girls.
