Stabbing in Grafing, Germany

A stabbing at a German train station has left one man dead and several wounded this morning, a spokesman for the state prosecutor confirmed to ABC News.

Police say a 27-year-old German man attacked four people with a knife at a train station 20 miles east of Munich.

One victim, a 50-year-old German man died after being stabbed several times in the back. While the other victims, all men aged 55, 43 and 58, are being treated at a local hospital, said police.

It’s unclear at this point if the attacker called out something before the attack, but authorities believe the suspect could have had political motivations.

The man is in custody and authorities are working to identify him.

Police say the train station will be closed today as they continue their investigation. (ABC)
