St. Mary’s Dominican High School robotics team advances to world competition
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The St. Mary’s Dominican High School robotics team has advanced a to world competition.
Leaders with Dominican said the team, Dominican Ultraviolet, advanced to the world competition after taking first place for the Inspire Award and third place for the Connect Award at the Louisiana FTC Regional Championship in Denham Springs.

“This is the equivalent to winning a state athletics championship,” said Dominican Robotics Coach Crissy Giacona.
Dominican Ultraviolet will compete from April 17 to April 20 in Houston at the FIRST.
