St. Louis Protesters Attempt Highway Shut Down After Police Officer Acquitted

Protesters marched and attempted to block a highway in downtown St. Louis on Friday, September 15, after a judge ruled former St. Louis Police Officer Jason Stockley was not guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Anthony Lamar Smith.

The group attempted to march up the on ramp for westbound Interstate 64, but they were blocked by about 30 police officers on bicycles, a news report said.
