St. George Fire seeking information after fire at Baton Rouge gym
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The St. George Fire Department is asking for the public’s help after a Tuesday, April 16 fire at a gym in Baton Rouge.
SGFD said they were called to Club 4 Fitness, 6576 Jones Creek Road, around 7:24 a.m. where “crews found smoke coming from the wall in the men’s sauna.” Firefighters also found damage inside the walls in the form of charred wood and pipes.
Investigators with the St. George Fire Department said “the sauna had been tampered with.” Club 4 Fitness was “closed for a few days” because of this fire, SFGD said.
