Anthony’s Life & Style Hotel has bold claims to combine a hotel, spa, steakhouse, sports bar, café and Italian restaurant – a lot to live up to, but it's popular with visitors and locals alike. The rooms are ultra modern with streamlined wooden furnishings and open-plan slate bathrooms, while the rooftop Sky-Spa offers mountain views. From £1,279 b&b, including flights, transfers and lift pass, with Sunweb.
Hotel m3 is named after the three Kaser brothers – Mansuet, Michael and Markus – who transformed the old building on Dorfstrasse owned by their grandparents into a boutique four-star design hotel. All the materials, art and furniture in the property is crafted by local artisans, making for a contemporary yet warm environment. Breakfasts are served in the roof-top Sky Lounge, which also serves as an après bar. From £1,210, b&b, including flights and transfers with Ski Solutions.
Luxury
Mooser Hote is next to the Mooserwirt, and it’s testament to the wonders of modern sound-proofing and multimillion-euro Austrian construction that you can’t hear the partying in the adjoining bar when you’re ensconced in the comfort of the hotel. As well as having St Anton’s best après bar on its (back) doorstep, this 17-room, ski-in/ski-out hotel is chic and welcoming, with a superb spa and restaurant. Unsurprisingly, it books up extremely quickly, so reserve early. From £1,630, b&b, including flights and transfers with Ski Solutions.

The family-owned five-star Raffl's St Antonerhof offers friendly, professional service and successfully flirts with combining Tyrolean tradition and contemporary design. Intricately carved wooden beds are set off by exotic cacti and modern wall fires, and raised Philippe Starck bathrooms can be closed off from suites with sliding glass doors imprinted with vintage ski photographs. The duplex family suites attract a loyal following, as does the restaurant and bar, and there's an excellent pool, sauna and steam room. From £2,271, half board, including transfers and flights, with Ski Independence.
