Sri Lanka wins toss, elects to bat in 2nd ODI

HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka (AP) — Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews has won the toss and elected to bat first in the second one-day international against Pakistan on Tuesday.

Pakistan leads the three-match series 1-0 after defeating Sri Lanka by four wickets in the high-scoring opening game last Saturday at the same venue.

Pakistan had to make one forced change after middle-order batsman Younis Khan returned home due to death of his nephew. He was replaced by opening batsman Sharjeel Khan.

Sri Lanka brought in all-rounder Seekkuge Prasanna in place of Dinesh Chandimal, who scored only six runs in his team's total of 275-7 in the previous game.
