Sri Lanka name ODI and Twenty20 squad for Australia tour

Colombo, July 21(ANI): Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the ODI and Twenty20 squad for next month's tour of Australia. Thilina Kandamby, who was the vice-captain during the tour of England, has been axed from the 20-man squad. Middle-order batsmen Chamara Kapugedara and Chamara Silva will return to the pool after missing the England tour. The only uncapped player in the squad is Sachithra Senanayake, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. Sri Lanka and Australia will play five ODIs and two Twenty20 games. They will also play three Tests, but the squad for the longer version of the game was not announced. Sri Lanka squad: Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardena, Kumar Sangakkara, Angelo Mathews, Chamara Kapugedera, Jeevan Mendis, Chamara Silva, Dinesh Chandimal, Dimuth Karunaratne, Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga, Suranga Lakmal, Dhammika Prasad, Nuwan Kulasekera, Isuru Udana, Suraj Randiv, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Malinga Bandara and Sachithra Senanayake.
