Data is getting cheaper than ever. Sprint just launched its Family Share Pack, which gives families or groups up to 40GB of data for $100 a month. You can add up to 10 people to your group, meaning a 4GB line could cost you just $10 a month.

Sprint's new Family Share Pack gives customers 20GB of data for $100, regardless of the number of people in the group. For a family of ten, that means just $10 a line, while a group of five would pay $20 each.Sprint's also bundling an extra 2GB per line if you sign up within a limited time (although when that period begins and ends is not clear), so a package with 10 lines could get up to 40GB.

MORE: Family Plan Face-Off: What's the Best Deal?

While Sprint's new Family Share Pack would cost the same as T-Mobile's Simple Choice plan, Sprint's offers twice the amount of data (20GB vs 10GB on T-Mobile). To get T-Mobile's special $100 bundle, you'd also need a minimum of four lines, while Sprint lets you get on the Family Share Pack with just three people.

T-Mobile recently updated its Simple Choice family plan for six people to cost $120 a month -- also $20 per person. Each additional line after the sixth would cost $20. On this plan, each member would get 2.5GB of data a month. That's less than you would get on Sprint for six people (3GB or so each), even if you don't sign up within the limited time to get the extra 2GB each line.

Sprint's latest deal may seem incredibly enticing, but the carrier's growing LTE network is spotty. The No. 3 carrier came in last in our NYC 4G showdown, lagging behind the other Big Four carriers in terms of LTE speeds. However, Sprint came in second in Chicago, thanks to its enhanced Spark network, which has been deployed in 27 markets nationwide.
