Sprint tears apart rivals’ shared capped data plans in new ad [video]
Sprint (S) clearly thinks that it’s got a winner on its hands with its unlimited smartphone data plans. And more importantly, it thinks that AT&T’s (T) and Verizon’s (VZ) embrace of shared capped data plans is going to drive wireless users into its arms, as demonstrated by a new ad showing a family sitting around a table and figuring out how they’ll avoid going broke from data overage fees on their family smartphone plan. The highlight of the ad comes when the beleagured father rips away his daughter’s smartphone and tells her to stop “liking” so many things on Facebook (FB). The full video is posted below.
