His trial was set to begin on May 21 after being pushed back multiple times from June 2022.

UPDATE: Suspect surrenders to police after Fayetteville stabbing, victim identified

Fayetteville police responded to a stabbing call on North College Avenue around 12:52 a.m. on December 24, 2021.

According to a social media post, FPD found a man with an apparent stab wound in the parking lot of a gaming store. The man, later identified as Cody Tisdell, died at a nearby hospital from his injuries.

The initial investigation showed the suspect was known to the victim and the two possibly had an argument before the deadly altercation.

Pyle was arrested after video evidence and witness statements suggested he stabbed Tisdell. Police found Pyle at this home where he barricaded himself inside and refused to exit.

Pyle livestreamed his activity on social media and said he would not go back to jail.

While Springdale police tried to negotiate with Pyle, he fired a gun inside the home. Sgt. Tony Murphy with FPD said Pyle later surrendered.
