As the calendar inches closer to spring, it's easy to understand if students — and teachers — in the Coachella Valley are eager for a well-deserved break.

While the majority of schools are set for a weeklong break in late March or early April, students enrolled at Palm Springs Unified School District are in for a treat with a two-week respite. Here's the full list of local schools' spring break dates:

K-12 SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS

Coachella Valley Unified School District

Spring break is from April 1 through April 5, and the first day off is technically for Good Friday on March 29. Classes resume Monday, April 8. Find the 2023-24 school year calendar here.

Desert Christian Academy

Spring break — or also referred to as Easter Vacation — is from April 1 through April 5, and the first day off is technically for Good Friday on March 29. Classes resume Monday, April 8. Find the 2023-24 school year calendar here.

Desert Sands Unified School District

Spring break is from April 1 through April 5, with a "non-school day" on April 8. Classes resume Tuesday, April 9. Find the 2023-24 school year calendar here.

Palm Springs Unified School District

Palm Valley School

Spring break is from April 1 through April 5. Classes resume Monday, April 8.
