Spot storms Friday, heating up for the weekend

ST. LOUIS — Rain and thunder are impacting the southern half of the St. Louis region overnight, but metro St. Louis and other communities north of I-44 in MO and I-70 in IL are dry. Be watchful for some spots of fog. As the morning rain moves off, we’ll watch for spottier showers and storms into Friday afternoon. These spottier storms will be possible farther north than where the morning rain has fallen.  Highs in the mid 70s.
