A hunting and outdoors store based in Utah is expanding into the Tampa Bay area.

Sportsman’s Warehouse is opening its first store in the region at the Seminole City Center shopping plaza in Pinellas County on Sept. 8, according to a news release.

The retail chain, found in 30 states, sells equipment for hunting, fishing, camping, boating and other outdoor activities. The 32,000-square-foot store at 7967 113th St. in Seminole will have over 60,000 items in stock, the company said.

This will be the company’s third Florida location, after Jacksonville and Lady Lake by the Villages, and its first along the state’s Gulf Coast.

“With a growing demand for outdoor equipment, gear and accessories in the area, the Gulf Coast of Florida provides a tremendous opportunity for us and fits well with our strategic plans for growth in the Southeast,” Jon Barker, Sportsman’s Warehouse CEO, said in a statement.

Sportsman’s Warehouse is offering shopping deals for opening week including a free hat and gift card for the first 200 customers, sweepstakes for items like guns, knives, fishing gear, binoculars and a pellet grill, and a range of discounts up to 50% on fishing gear, firearms and hunting and camping equipment.
