Sports power couple Zach and Julie Ertz star at Super Bowl media day
Julie Ertz made social media waves last week with her response to learning that her husband was Super Bowl-bound after his Philadelphia Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship.
She was in tears after learning the good news while walking off the field from a U.S. women’s national soccer team victory over Denmark, in which she scored a goal.

Now she’s in Minneapolis for Super Bowl media day, where she’s working as a correspondent for the USWNT, where it’s crystal clear from her attire that she is most definitely not acting as a neutral reporter.

She even got some air time with NFL Network’s Michael Irvin to help interview her husband and Eagles tight end. In standard Super Bowl media day fashion, nothing of substance was learned, but we did get some insight into a marital dynamic where Julie has Wold Cup hardware to display at home while Zach feels pressure to complete the bookend set with some of his own.

Whether or not Zach and the Eagles are able to add to the couple’s trophy case on Sunday, Julie’s already a winner with a bit of a star turn to add to her on-field accomplishments as a world-class athlete.
