Born-rich person Donald Trump Jr. uses his kid's Halloween candy to talk about socialism
Very rich person Donald Trump Jr., who inherited his wealth from his father, would like to make a point about socialism. To do it he's going to use his innocent child, Chloe.
The president's son tweeted a photo of his daughter Chloe looking sad on Tuesday holding up a bucket filled with Halloween candy. "I’m going to take half of Chloe’s candy tonight & give it to some kid who sat at home. It’s never to early to teach her about socialism," he wrote.
OK.

While Trump using his kid to make a political statement is gross at the very least, some found the whole thing just a little ridiculous, considering the man inherited his wealth from his father, who inherited his wealth from his father.
Man who inherited money from his father, who inherited it from *his* father, has lessons on making it on your own. https://t.co/3yPEccCF6b

Or teach her how to inherit wealth and pretend she earned it the hard way.

"honey, see this free candy you just got? don't share it with anyone. that's how the Trumps operate. we are selfish."

Others replied with the pretty obvious holes in Trump's socialism argument while pointing out that a compassionate lesson can also come with sharing with those less fortunate.
Alternatively, maybe that kid stayed home because their parents work five jobs to keep their house. Maybe that kid would appreciate help. 1

Or maybe they are disabled due to a birth defect from Trump Industries waste. That kid would also appreciate a hand. 2

And Donny Jr. imagine what giving some of her bounty to such kids in need would do for your daughter. That’s a life lesson never forgotten.

Or you could teach her to be kind, caring and thoughtful. Teach her how to share and help less fortunate. Just a suggestion 🤷🏼♀️

Regardless of your thoughts on socialism, Trump trying to make a point by using his innocent child was cheap at best, and lacked any sense of compassion and self-awareness.
Sure sounds like a Trump.
