Spirit Airlines adding five new routes from San Diego
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego travelers will soon be able to add five destination options from San Diego International Airport (SAN) through Spirit Airlines.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for the airlines told FOX 5 that five new stops will be added to their route map starting this summer.

The new service includes daily nonstop flights to Baltimore (BWI), Houston (IAH), Portland (PDX), Sacramento (SMF), and Salt Lake City (SLC).
Here’s a look at the new schedule, along with the route launch dates:

The new routes grow Spirit’s SAN service to eight nonstop destinations and 12 daily departures. Spirit first started service at SAN in 2011.
