Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer: Peter Parker gets his suit confiscated by Iron Man

A newly released trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming offers fans a brief glimpse of Chris Evans's Captain America - and shows poor Peter Parker (Tom Holland) getting his Spider-suit confiscated by Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Last December, in a previous teaser for the forthcoming movie, we saw the young web-slinger (Tom Holland) develop his student-mentor relationship with Stark, a dynamic that first blossomed in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War.

Here, however, we saw an over confident Parker overstep the mark, inadvertently putting a ship-full of people in danger from Michael Keaton's villain Vulture – and provoking the ire(on) of Iron Man.

The trailer also showed how, after being reprimanded and rejected as a candidate for the Avengers, Parker decides to go it alone.

The Captain, meanwhile, appears in a very tongue in cheek cameo, in a fitness training video clip shown at Parker's school during a gym class.

Director Jon Watts's eagerly awaited reboot of the superhero franchise, released this July, is the first Spider-Man movie to feature Holland in the title role, after a previous series of films starring Andrew Garfield was axed in 2014.
