SpaceX breaks record with 3 launches in 36 hours

SpaceX is celebrating a record after it launched three rockets within 36 hours.


Two of the rockets launched from the Space Coast. There was a Starlink launch on Friday and a Global Star satellite launch just after midnight on Sunday.

There was another Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Saturday.

This was the fastest three-flight sequence for an orbital rocket in modern space history.

On Monday, NASA will take its next step toward sending astronauts back to the moon with a “wet dress” rehearsal.

The rehearsal includes a series of important countdown tests ahead of an uncrewed flight around the moon, which NASA hopes to accomplish this summer.
