Southern Missouri fire department equipment, structure lost in flames

EMINENCE, Mo. – A fire early Tuesday morning in Eminence, MO, took out a firehouse and all equipment with it.

The fire broke out around 5:45 a.m., according to Shannon County First Responders. The building is located just under three hours southwest of St. Louis.

Firefighters lost everything in the incident. All seven trucks were burned along with hoses, helmets, generators, and much more. The building was empty at the time.

The Shannon County First Responders said on Facebook that fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
