Quote: "Realising the distribution of forces and the invincibility of our people, the enemy is firing mercilessly at the Mykolaiv area from the occupied territories using volley fire systems. [This is an] attempt to intimidate and once again inflict painful damage using banned cluster munitions that have an indiscriminate effect.

Private residential buildings and agricultural facilities have been damaged. The power supply to one of the settlements has been disrupted. There is no available information about casualties.

In the Kherson region, both attempts by the enemy to use their Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles ended with the spy drones being hit and destroyed."

Details: In total, Ukrainian missile and artillery units, aircraft of the Air Force and the Land Forces hit over 90 targets at aggressor positions over the past 24 hours.

The total losses of the aggressor in the South amounted to 79 invaders, 12 units of military equipment, including howitzers, motor and armoured vehicles as well as the UAVs.

In the Odesa region, the aggressor continued to exert psychological pressure on the residents of the areas bordering Transnistria, with a possible blockade of the region caused by the cessation of functioning of the Dniester Bridge, where rocket attacks had been used again.

The situation is further escalated by putting the armed forces of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova and units of the Russian troops task force on "Polna" (high) alert.

"The southern Defence Forces ready for duty. Ukraine's borders have been strengthened and comprehensive measures have been undertaken", "Pivden" (South) Operational Command said in a statement.

There remains the threat of missile strikes from the temporarily occupied Crimea, both from the air using aircraft and from the sea, where a Russian naval group of vessels equipped with cruise missiles continues to be present.
